We use self-hosted software which allows us to monitor the statistics of our website to see how it performs in searches, the amount of visitors our website receives and to monitor the activity of visitors on our website. Our website collects information about the device you are using and the IP address you are accessing from. The data is anonymised before being used for analytics processing. This data includes:
- Time and date of visit (this can help us to identify and plan for busy periods on our website)
- IP address (this is a numerical label assigned to a device by an Internet Service Provider to enable the device to access the internet)

reCAPTCHA
ReCAPTCHA v3 (Invisible reCAPTCHA badge) has an Invisible reCaptcha badge that doesn’t require a user to check a box or answer challenge questions. Instead, verification happens by clicking on an existing button on the site or through a JavaScript. This method only prompts very suspicious traffic to solve a captcha.
reCAPTCHA collects and analyses the following:

- The amount of mouse clicks a user has done on the site or touches on an app

- The answers to question fields on the site
- CSS information

Where your data is processed and stored
Bistro My Way processes all data on a shared cloud hosting server provided by Krystal Hosting. Krystal Hosting states “We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.”.
Krystal Hosting are not able to access any website data unless permitted so by website administrators or employees with access to our server. Booking information is not accessible by our hosting provider.
Once your data has been processed, it is not stored on the server and is sent via email to the respective recipient with the domain ending in @bistromyway.co.uk. Emails are stored on Google’s servers respectively as emails are managed through Gmail (Google’s Privacy Policy).
How long we keep your data
Form Submissions
Data submitted via email may be kept indefinitely however once your reservation/hire has passed, we will delete your submission and confirmation email.
Cookies
