We found this hidden gem unexpectedly, driving by from the Highcliffe Castle. We were purely amazed by this restaurant, food and service, that they have provided. First of all, it is run by the French staff with a French chef, who cooked beautiful and very tasty dishes! Mussels, grilled seafood and desserts were simply fabulous, but my winner was the steak from the Specials board, which was one of the best steaks I have ever tried, perfectly cooked, so tender and flavourful. Although this Bistro is almost 2 hours drive from our home, we would definitely come back again. Thank you for the lovely dinner and great time!
What a fabulous addition to the dining options in Highcliffe. A simple menu with really tasty food, well prepared and presented. Friendly staff and a relaxed bistro environment make for a very enjoyable evening. A simple, well priced wine list with very good value wines. Thank you Charles and your team, we will be back.
Popped in for evening meal. The food was very well cooked and presented. I had 3 courses and could not find anything negative to report. A further update from Friday the 21st. Our neighbours and us popped in for 18.30 table. This is our third visit and were not dissapointed. We all had different items from the menu including one from "Specials Board". We all were delighted with every coarse, the wine and the staff.

5* does not justify this place... Bistro my Way is absolutely perfect.. Alice at front of house was first class and got her to choose my dishes. Everything from my 3 courses was delicous tasty and perfectly presented. This place is more than perfect and I will 100% return for quality food, deserts and service. throughout you can't go wrong.
Outstanding food quality, taste and presentation. Very obvious how passionate Charles (chef & owner) is about his food and Sebastian is about front-of-house. Have recommended this place to others who have been equally impressed.

Fabulous food and immense value for money given the quality. Attentive service, nice ambience - need to book at least a week in advance which shows how popular the place is. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Last night we ate here for the first time and were so impressed with the food and service. Started with sardines that had the crispiest skin and yummy cod croquettes. Followed by the most delicious and juicy chicken breast with paella and lobster bisque. Couldn’t fault it at all! Husband had the mix fish grill and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite! Finished with a lava cake served with thyme ice cream and we did give the ice cream a try but the flavors weren’t for me... however I totally get the idea and the complimentary flavors!
I was recommended to this restaurant, and certainly not disappointed, went for Sunday lunch & as well as traditional roasts a lovely choice from the menu & specials board, staff were excellent, food delicious & beautifully presented, will definitely return, been recommending to all my clients at work, included a picture of my dessert that was so pretty, as well as delicious!
This little gem of a restaurant. We would never have expected the standard of food which was fabulous. The cheese soufflé was sublime, the main courses expertly prepared and the desserts just a delight. Just wish we lived closer so we could visit more regularly. We hope to come back very soon
